About the role
Be the welcoming first point of contact for the people who visit and contact DCC. In this varied role, you’ll keep reception and office operations running smoothly while providing administration support to our on-site Allied Health team and services across the organisation. Working with leadership and broader team, you will:
- Welcome visitors, respond to calls and enquiries, and maintain an organised reception area.
- Coordinate appointments, bookings, intake enquiries and general administration.
- Support Allied Health Professionals with schedules and client communication.
- Liaise with clients, families, providers and other stakeholders in a warm, professional manner.
- Process invoices and payments in line with DCC procedures.
- Manage office supplies, mail, deliveries and meeting rooms.
- Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with care.
- Help with onboarding, meetings, events and improvements to administration processes.
About you
You bring reception or administration experience and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service. You’re organised, approachable and able to manage competing requests while remaining calm and attentive to detail.
You’ll also have strong communication skills, confidence using Microsoft 365, and the initiative to solve everyday administrative issues. Experience in healthcare, allied health or community services would be highly regarded.
The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence. You’ll also need to hold, or be willing to obtain, the relevant screening checks and First Aid and CPR certifications.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven reception or administration experience and a strong customer service focus. Experience in healthcare, community services or allied health would be highly regarded.
- A welcoming, professional approach and the ability to communicate well with clients, families, visitors and colleagues.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm when things get busy.
- Initiative to resolve administrative issues and suggest better ways of working.
- The flexibility to work independently and support different teams across DCC.
- Sound judgement when handling confidential information, along with a commitment to safeguarding, privacy and workplace safety.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365. Experience with Canva, Employment Hero or appointment booking systems would be an advantage.
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Current Australian Driver License (Provisional Green or Open)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain
- Nationally recognised First Aid and CPR Certifications or willingness to obtain
- LCS2 check or willingness to obtain
